On 5th April 2025, Vivekanand Education Society’s College of Arts, Science & Commerce (Autonomous) organized a Faculty Awareness Program titled “Understanding Incubation Centres and Their Benefits” under the aegis of PM-USHA. The event, held in association with VESASC Innovation Cell and the HABIT Foundation, aimed to enlighten faculty about the role and impact of incubation centres in nurturing innovation and entrepreneurship. Dr. Jyoti Chandwani, Nodal Officer of the HABIT Foundation Incubation Centre, delivered the session. Her insights empowered attendees with a deeper understanding of incubation support, resources, and opportunities to foster entrepreneurial growth within academic institutions.
Held on 12th February 2025 at VESP, the seminar led by Dr. Jyoti Chandwani aimed to educate students and faculty on the entrepreneurial ecosystem facilitated by the HABIT Foundation Incubation Centre. The session highlighted the incubation process, available resources, mentorship opportunities, and the application procedure. Dr. Chandwani also shared inspiring startup success stories, encouraging participants to turn ideas into ventures. The interactive Q&A session further deepened understanding. Held on 6th October 2025 at the Seminar Hall, VESP, the session introduced students to startup incubation, entrepreneurship, and the role of incubation centres in supporting innovation. Organised in two structured sessions for students across multiple branches, the program was conducted by Dr. Jyoti Chandwani. The sessions covered entrepreneurship fundamentals, idea validation, prototype development, and startup readiness. Students gained valuable insights into how HABIT Foundation supports aspiring entrepreneurs through mentorship, guidance, and institutional support, reinforcing its commitment to nurturing innovation, entrepreneurial thinking, and future-ready changemakers.
Held from 9th to 17th October 2025 at VESIM, the session was organised to promote innovation, entrepreneurship, and startup culture among students under the vision “Ignite Ideas, Build Startups, Lead the Change.” Dr. Jyoti Chandwani conducted an engaging session introducing students to the HABIT Foundation ecosystem, highlighting mentorship, infrastructure support, and startup launch assistance available under VES. Students gained valuable insights into problem–solution fit, incubation processes, and venture development, reinforcing VESIM’s commitment to nurturing innovation, entrepreneurial thinking, leadership, and startup-driven excellence among students.
Organized on 16th January 2026 at VESIM Campus 2 by the Department of B.Com (E-Commerce), Vivekanand Education Society's College of Arts, Science and Commerce in association with HABIT Foundation, the workshop focused on Design Thinking, Critical Thinking, and Innovation Design. Dr. Jyoti Chandwani guided students through ideation, problem identification, innovation methodologies, and incubation processes. The session provided practical exposure to entrepreneurial frameworks and the campus startup ecosystem, enabling students to understand the journey from ideas to venture creation. The initiative reflected HABIT Foundation’s commitment to nurturing innovation, entrepreneurship, and a strong startup culture among students.
Held on 4th September 2024 at VESP, the HABIT Awareness Session introduced students to the entrepreneurial ecosystem offered by the HABIT Incubation Center. Led by Dr. Jyoti Chandwani, the session highlighted the incubation process—from online application and concept note submission to trustee review and final selection. Through real-life success stories and an interactive Q&A, students gained clarity on entrepreneurship and the support system available. The session inspired many to explore startup opportunities and provided practical guidance on drafting concept notes, reinforcing entrepreneurship as a viable and empowering career path.
On 8th August 2024, VES College of Arts, Science & Commerce hosted an Innovation & Entrepreneurship Outreach Program featuring Dr. Jyoti Chandwani, Nodal Officer of the HABIT Foundation. Addressing students from Arts, Commerce, and Science streams, Dr. Chandwani shared insights into the foundation's role in fostering student innovation through incubation support, mentorship, and networking. She emphasized skill development and collaboration with industry experts. Success stories of past incubatees illustrated the foundation’s impact. The session concluded with a vote of thanks, leaving participants inspired and informed about the entrepreneurial opportunities available through the HABIT Foundation Incubation Centre.
Held on 18th February 2025 at the VESIM Auditorium, the session organized by the HABIT Foundation Incubation Centre featured Dr. Akhilesh C. Srivastava, who shared expert insights on intellectual property rights. Attended by faculty and students from all 8 VES institutes, the event highlighted the importance of patents and copyrights, real-world success stories, and industry-academia collaboration. Dr. Srivastava emphasized strategic IP management and commercialization potential. The interactive Q&A enabled attendees to clarify doubts and explore patenting opportunities. The session inspired participants to protect and leverage their innovations for greater industry impact and entrepreneurial success.
